Dear Friends and Colleagues,
We are delighted to invite you all to the third edition of the International Primary Immunodeficiencies Congress – IPIC2017 – which will take place in the vibrant city of Dubai on 8-10 November 2017!
Building on the outcomes of IPIC2013 and IPIC2015, held respectively in Estoril (Portugal) and Budapest (Hungary), IPIC2017 is an international scientific meeting focusing on the diagnosis and clinical management of Primary Immunodeficiencies (PIDs). In 2015, 80% of clinicians applying for CME accreditation indicated that IPIC will change their clinical practice. The uniqueness of IPIC comes from its clinically orientated programme prepared with the input from the key PID stakeholders: doctors, patients and nurses.
The congress programme promises to be even more exciting this time featuring an array of world renowned experts and other leading stakeholders from the PID community who will share their experience and provide invaluable perspectives on major clinical considerations:
– Early detection for optimal care
– Transplant advances
– PID clinical priorities by world region
– Novel treatments
– PID care and ethical issues
…among many others important topics!
IPIC2017 will be held at the Crowne Plaza® Dubai Festival City hotel, which provides an excellent venue to host the conference. The hotel boasts its own conference centre and is centrally located on the banks of Dubai Creek with relaxing waterfront views.
Dubai is a major connecting hub, between Europe, Africa, Asia, Oceania, Latin America and the USA, providing direct flights with very attractive airfares and well established as leading destination for international conferences. IPIC2017’s partnering airlines is Emirates and we invite you to make good use of the special conditions offered to all congress participants. The city has a welcoming cosmopolitan vibe catered for all visitors and November is a cooler month in Dubai with average temperatures around 25 °C (77 °F) making it an exceptional time to visit.
We look forward to welcoming you all in Dubai!
